 Watering Your Vocation with Your Words

I want you to understand that everything is created by words, recreated by words, repaired by words, and sustained by words. Nothing has ever existed, nor will ever exist, without a spoken word.

The Power of the Word: The Foundation of Creation

John 1:1-3 (KJV):

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

Words are more powerful than anyone can imagine. Words are like seeds, and words are also the water that nourishes those seeds. Seeds are planted and need water to take root downward and bear fruit upward. The power of words surpasses human comprehension. Whatever words come upon must be affected—either negatively or positively.

It is dangerous to underestimate the power of words. The rise or fall of every person is determined by spoken words. Nothing comes into this life without spoken words, and nothing is sustained without spoken words.

Words Uphold All Things

Hebrews 1:3 (KJV):

“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.”

Your words are the backbone of the success you need in your vocation.

The seed you need to succeed is a word, and the water you need to grow that seed is also a word. Understand that no word is ever lost. Every word spoken resides somewhere in the atmosphere until it is countered by another spoken word from a more superior being.

Words are creative in nature. Every person who understands the mystery of spoken words finds satisfaction in the desires they express. If God, who created all things, did so by spoken words, then it is expected of us—who are called gods—to create our world with words, even in this wicked world.

John 10:34 (KJV):

“Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?”

Use Your Words to Create and Grow

Please use your words to create what you want and to water those creations to grow. Words are seeds that are watered by more words. The words in any person’s mouth are powerful because God made them so.

Proverbs 18:21 (KJV):

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Words, Not Money, Plant and Grow Your Vocation

Businesses and vocations are planted with words and grown with words—not just money. Money does not plant or grow anything; words do.

If your vocation is not doing well, it is because words have not been spoken over it. It is not because enough money has not come upon it.

I cannot imagine planting a ministry without speaking to it regularly. If you say nothing to the work of your hands, it becomes empty and vulnerable to destruction by any opposing force.

It is a grave mistake to go all day without speaking to the works of your hands.

Speak to Your Works Daily

Speak to your works as often as possible every day. This will keep you moving forward with ease.

Every word from every mouth is powerful, but words are more powerful and sure when they come from the supreme source—the Word of God.

When you plant with God’s Word and water with God’s Word, nothing can counter it because it is final.

All you need to plant, water, and grow with is to speak and keep speaking from God’s Word. By doing so, complete advancement is guaranteed.

You must not leave your works empty of God’s spoken Word. Speak to them constantly as God commands.
