The greatest treasure in this life is the Kingdom of God, our Heavenly Father. Whatsoever that finds it has everything to enjoy, both in this present life and that which is to come.
The Biblical Foundation Of This Fact Is The Parables Of Jesus About the Kingdom Of God.
Matthew 13:31-32 (KJV):
[31] Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
[32] Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
Matthew 13:44 (KJV):
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
What Then Is the Kingdom of God?
The kingdom of God is the field of God's greener pastures where His flocks get nourished, sheltered and find complete peace rejoicing evermore. Halalujah!! 🙌!!!
According to the Bible book quoted, it is therefore so important to get this reminder that finding the Kingdom of God means finding a restful place to live, where things get nourished, get sheltered and remain ever joyful. It is all about finding a place where all things are well structured and governed by the supreme God Himself. This is never a place of physical realm but SPIRITUAL where everything operates as a citizen under God's divine government. Indeed, this is the greatest place to be because freedom from the tensions and troubles of earthly governments is eminently established therein. Praise God!!!
When you enter into the Kingdom of God, you enter into the government of Heaven, where our Supreme God reigns. At this end, no earthly government and system will anymore have power or influence over you.
The Kingdom Of God Guarantees Fulfillment and Eternal Life
The Kingdom of God by the understanding of the Bible guarantees God's people all-round satisfactions and above all, ETERNAL life. The mystery of God's Kingdom is this. God's Kingdom is an unseen realm, or call it a spiritual realm where all that have received Jesus into their hearts dwell or live by the privilege of their redemption.
Luke 17:20-21 (KJV):
[20] And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
[21] Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Finding The Kingdom Of God And Getting Its Citizenship
Just as seen in the scriptures sighted above, the Kingdom of God is a divine government established by God Himself in Christ Jesus to govern the lives of the kingdom's citizens. JESUS, according to Luke 17:21 is said to be the kingdom of God within. Those who find Jesus enter into this Kingdom and cease to be controlled by the systems of this world. Jesus, who is the embodiment of the kingdom of God now governs their lives by the Kingdom’s constitution and policies as written in the Bible. Halalujah 🙌!!!
No earthly government has power over Kingdom citizens because they are not part of that system.
The Kingdom Drive And Compliance.
The Kingdom of God is a constitution-driven or commandment-driven Kingdom. This constitution is the BIBLE that regulates and controls the life of everyone living within the kingdom and must be obeyed by all citizens.
Just as it is in any earthly kingdom, obedience to the laws and policies is eminently required to enjoy the blessings and benefits therein. Rejecting these policies means missing out on the blessings and may lead to charges and prosecution.
Requirements to Enter Into the Kingdom Of God.
Every kingdom has requirements for intending citizens, and the Kingdom of God is no difference. The greatest treasure which is the Kingdom of God without doubt has its own requirements that must be met to see, enter, and remain therein.
John 3:3-5 (KJV):
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
How to Enter and Remain in the Kingdom Of God.
1. Receive Jesus genuinely into your heart to be spiritually reborn, like a newborn baby, to see the Kingdom of God.
2. Be born of water (the Word of God) to enter into the Kingdom of God. The Word of God shapes you to accept and live by the Kingdom’s policies.
3. Become a true servant of God to remain a citizen of the Kingdom of God forever.
Luke 18:16-17 (KJV):
I therefore encourage every reader of this message to reflect on the verses of Luke 18 and the importance of childlike faith and humility to enter into the Kingdom of God.
My Final Encouragement And Admonision.
I want to start by saying a big congratulations if you have met these kingdom requirements, you are said to have come into a restful place of life till the day of Jesus' appearing. But if you have no assurance of operating from the Kingdom of God, you may never experience greener pastures, shelter and complete peace to find rest from the troubles of this world.
